Within Mercury, Fixed Term Contracts (FTC) are to be created as permanent vacancies.
This is because the financials need to be based on an annual salary, rather than a rate.
Ensure the Type of Position is selected as Permanent.
If you wish to report on your permanent vacancies and how many are FTC, we recommend that the Vacancy Type field has FTC added as a dropdown option. This field is configurable. If you wish for this to be added, please speak to your internal System Administrator.
