When launching the search from a Vacancy, you have the option to flag suitable candidates so you can quickly look down the list of candidates returned to see who is and isn't suitable.

Green play icon: Suitable. This is the only symbol that has an action within Mercury. When using this, it then adds the candidate to the shortlist on the Vacancy (the Candidates tab)
Yellow pause: Maybe Suitable
Red square: Unsuitable
Blue circle : Could be used to mark that you have attempted to call this candidate or contact them and you are awaiting a response

There are also four custom icons which are black suit symbols which you can define their meaning yourselves if you would prefer a custom flag.

Once you have flagged your candidates, you can easily scroll down your search results and quickly see how many people you have that are Suitable. In the instance of a Saved Search, you can also quickly see candidates who aren't suitable to prevent you from having to load their CV and determine their suitability again; this prevents you from creating unnecessary work for yourself.

How do I flag my Candidates?

There are three ways that this can be actioned.

1. From the preview panel (to view this, click on the eye symbol to the left of your candidate). The great thing about flagging from here, is that you can then scroll through your list, and review and flag your Candidates as you go

2. Individually, using the flag symbol to the left of the Candidate

3. Flagging candidates in bulk can be done by selecting from the left on the tick and using the flag icon on the top left, above the list of lists

If you want to see where your candidates are located, select the Map icon

You will see the candidate pins have changed colour to represent their flag status.
